The problem there is not being able to select folders and it being all or nothing. I did want to mention that the old Groove client worked for both OneDrive for BusinessĪnd SharePoint collections just fine. I removed the key, all the OneDrive folders on the profile as well before reinstalling again. I have done what you requested and the symptoms are the same as I noted above. With the ability to go into the PC file system from the web OneDrive personal client We do not want users to be able to configure personal OneDrive accounts with the client and need this disabled. I tested this and the same sync issues occurred there as well (pull down directories but no files from cloud,įiles put in the directory will sync with the cloud though).
On a different but related to the agency wide deployment is how to disable the Personal account capabilities in the Next Generation Sync client. Oh, and we did add the site for our tenant to the Trusted Sites just in case. I would like to get this sync issue solved so any help would be appreciated. Credentials were removed in control panel as well. Settings under C:\users\"name"\AppData\Local\Microsoft\OneDrive and the OneDrive directories from my Users folder after each retry as several posts on the forum say to do.
I do not have the Groove based client installed, although it previously was. I have removed the client and removed all cache and settings, done a reinstall and the symptoms are still the same. If I put a file or folder in the local OneDrive sync directory it will sync that file or directory to the cloud so it is working half way. Pulls in no files, status states Processing Changes on the system tray icon. It does pull the directories and all sub directories but We are in the process of testing this for an agency wide deployment and have run into an issue with the next generation sync client not being able to pull the files down from the Office 365 cloud.
